Sechequr Qara
fallen in Spring Crown Tourney, A.S. XLII
What made Sechequr reach so high? What prize
Could lure him in to such a hero’s list?
A smile sweet in Pari’s shining eyes.
In combat bold Sir Mansur claimed his toll.
Though Sechequr fell, his sword clenched in his fist,
Death held no fear beside his greater goal.
Too soon Sir Mons with great force brought him down.
He did not mourn although the crown he missed -
Sechequr fought to win more than renown.
Sechequr fought to win more than renown.
Death held no fear beside his greater goal -
A smile sweet in Pari’s shining eyes.
