The Barony of [[Nordwache]] would like to invite the populace of Caid to attend and witness the glorious displays of combat, and chivalry as we find those who will Champion our new Queen.

We would like to invite groups who are interested to sponsor one of the erics. This will entail providing one of the erics and decorating it with things like rope pennants and/or corner banners. We are looking for pageantry from your group, Barony, Shire, Kingdom, and Her Majesty. If you wish to accept this challenge or have questions, please contact the event steward.

==Event Details==
*There will be a light luncheon available for a donation of $5.00. The lunch will consist of a choice between the following: beef tomato vegetable soup or potato corn chowder (vegetarian), and will be accompanied by various breads.

*Site: Porterville Sports Complex
*DIRECTIONS: There are two ways to the site:
**From 99 at Tipton: take 190 (Poplar Ave) east towards Porterville. Turn right on Road 244 (Westwood St). Turn right onto Scranton Avenue. The Sports Center will be on your left.
**From 99 at North Bakersfield: take North 65 to Porterville. Just before Porterville, turn left onto Scranton Avenue. Entrance is beyond the municipal airfield on your left.
*There will be lists for archery, armored combat, rapier, thrown weapons, and youth combat.
*Dogs are permitted on site. They are required to be on the leash and under control at all times. Please remember to pick up after your furry companion.
*<u>This is a Dry Site.</u>

*REGISTRATION: Adult non-members: $12.00.  Adult members:  $7.00.  Children 11 and under are guests of the event.
*Eric Space: Please contact Baroness Muirenn to reserve eric space
*MERCHANTS are permitted. Contact Baroness Muirenn by <u>January 1, 2017</u>. <b>Form 410-D is required in advance.</b>

==Event Schedule== 
*8:00am - Site opens
*10:00am - Opening Court (at their Majesties’ pleasure) 
*4:30pm - Site closes
**We are asked to be finished with breakdown by then. We are asked to manage our own trash and to either carry it off site at the end of the day or place it into one of the large dumpsters in the parking lot.The site has no lights and will be full dark by 5:00pm.
