Event Description From: The Page (April, 1991)

The Warriors of Caid and the West will face each other again at Hickey Park for a fun filled weekend of fighting, archery, and Arts competitions. We have secured a much larger section of the park this year, with double the parking area, double the camping area, and the large ravine which runs the length of the park to fight in as well as the large well groomed field used last year. [This site usually doesn't allow doqs -ed] We are happy to make arrangements for fighters wishing to also partake in the Archery Competition, just notify Norwache's Captain of Archers, Sigurd Storm rider to set a convenient time to shoot. There will be no pre-registration required for the Arts Competition, documentation will be required, registration forms will be available from the Arts and Science Autocrat. Arts will be accepted from 10am-noon on Saturday. All entries must be picked up by 3pm on Saturday. We will be having the Treasure Chest Auction, all contributions will be gratefully accepted, the proceeds to be split between the two Kingdoms. Merchants are encouraged to attend, no pre-registration needed, with at $10 fee per space (not per table) to be collected at site. Site Fee: 12 and under free, 13 and up $5.

Fighting (suggested): Open field Battle (1 war point), Open field Resurrection Battle (1wp), Ravine Battle (1wp), Bridge Battle or Castle Battle (1wp) - Total 4wp. Archery: IKAC Competition (1wp). Arts: Bardic, Callig. & Illus., Metal & Jewelry, Stitchery, Costuming, Bread Making, Wood and Leather work. The best combined score from these 7 Arts categories wins a war point.

This is a total of 6 war points, in case of a tie of war points, a Champions Battle shall determine the Day's victors.

Site opens noon on Friday, Saturday 9am Armor Inspection, 10am Opening Court, 11am Battles Begin, list for archery, noon Archery Begins, Closing Court to be Announced, Sunday Friendship Challenges, sites closes 3pm.
