The Counsel of Baron Thorvald

I will speak to the young firebrands bold,
Of how you must be to cherished Caid;
As Her lover and Her loyal arms-men
With honor and bravery all to see!

I am Baron Thorvald, Son of Olaf
Of northern forest and sea wintry hued
I love the peaces I craft in Caid
Peace of leather soft and peace of woods strong
The sweetest peace found within the circle
Of my beloved Eloise’s smooth white arms
These are the peaces I craft in Caid
I fight to protect Caid Herself

Listen to me newly bladed warriors brave,
Those are the joys of cherished Caid;
You are charged by sweat and blood to protect
With honor and bravery all to see!

I am Thorvald of the Abbey of Leng
In service with my brothers and sisters
Lies the serenity of a fine work
Happy hands turned to loving arts and crafts
The clasp of friendship warm within and out
Smiles sing to the music of amity
These are the treasures of our regal realm
That we trade peace for piece to serve and shield

This is the value of your martial valor
I would have you learn through my example
Cherished Caid demands no less from you
Than honor and bravery all to see!

All of a piece, this peace my fine boy-ohs
Our Queen Caid trusts in us evermore
