Location: Western Seas, Bard's Keep, Kapolei Regional Park,

Pu'U O Kapolei Archery Range, Kapolei, HI

Date: 03/05/2016

In honor of the Royal Visitation by their Royal Majesties Conrad III and A'isha II.

Suggested by Bantiarna Sadhbh inghean Uí Conghal to be an annual event.

Highlights

We had a late start as many arrived later than expected.

Opening court was very long as there were many awards given:

Members of the Populace inducted into the Order of the Dolphin

Members of the populace who received special recognition as part of the [Joy Initiative]

  • Lord Jörgen Unruh from His Excellency William Walworth de Durham
  • Bantiarna Sadhbh inghean Uí Conghal from Her Excellency Una Logan

Gifts were exchanged between Their Majesties and Their Excellencies. The Canton of Bard's Keep presented gifts to Their Majesties .

After court, it was time for feasting - and much feasting there was! Some members of the hosting organization, The Bushwacker Archery Club, dressed as Scots and visited with us.

Then a good portion of the populace followed Dame Uta to the archery range. Some qualified for Target Archery. Her Excellency Mistress Duibheasa gained permission to exit her Pelican Vigil to participate and became qualified as a Caid Marshal for Target Archery.

Dame Uta managed the "Robin Hood" Archery contest. Winners

Memories

Joke of the Day: How long will SCAdians take to put up a canopy?

Answer: Depends, if it is period, a few minutes. If modern, 3 hours!

Special thanks goes to Lord Geoffery and Her Excellency Mistress Duibheasa for helping solve the Puzzle of the Instrunctionless Canopy! Without their ingenuity, we would not have had the large 10'x20' canopy for shade.
