Felipe de Trujillo is a Spaniard who has set out to find his fortune in the world. In my youth, my favorite stories were of my ancestors who fought to take the castle of Trujillo from the Muslim control. When they thought all hope was lost, they were blessed with a vision of the Virgin Mary of Victory (Virgen de la Victoria) between the two towers of the castle. This gave them courage to press on and capture the castle. The thought of the Virgen de la Victoria showing favor to my lineage gives me courage to face what I may while traveling the known world. My favorite things are to cook and tinker and learn from many of the arts. Particularly culinary art, woodworking, metalworking, and intriguing art of belly dance.
