| Catherine O Boylan is a landed widow living in the countryside of western Ulster in 1560, where she spends her dowager days with her horses and harp. She's is not unaware of the tumult of the time and region, however, and is perfectly capable with sword in her hand should the day come to protect land and self. That said, any rumors that she has been seen in armor astride her mounts is doubtlessly exaggerated.
