Courts are also held at field events where there is generally an Opening Court which welcomes those gathered, and a Closing Court at the end where the results of the day's activities are proclaimed.

Giving of Awards, changes in kingdom law and changes of ceremonial heads are (in general) not official unless accomplished in court.
