The Canton of the Canyons sends a challenge to all the Knowne Worlde for a kite-making, kite-flying & war day on March 5! String will be provided by Master John ap Griffin (of course!) The event will start at 10:00 AM. Recognitions will be given for: Prettiest Kite, Largest Kite, Smallest Kite, Most Flyable Kite, Most Authentic Kite and a surprise Recognition of Excellence will be announced at the end of the event. There will also be a kite war, rules of which will be announced later. Weather permitting, there will be a barbeque--bring your own victuals--and a bardic circle that evening that we hope will specialize in kite tales.
