(Personal information removed) The Barony of Nordwache invites the Known World to join the Canton of Rieslingshire (Fresno, CA) on the 13th day of January 1990 c.e. in joyous celebration of Twelfth Night AS XXIV. Come and enjoy a day and night of revelry in a celebration of the many varied times and lands which exist within the dream. The theme of this year's celebration is an Argent and Sable Masque Ball. Those wishing to aid and assist should contact the Autocrat, Lord Lewis Whitaker. A scribe will take your message if the lord and lady of the manor are occupied.

We will hold the day of celebrations at one of our finest inns (The Ramada Inn, Fresno). A special flat rate of $46.00 per room (maximum of four persons per room).

Our Feast-O-Crat is planning with the inn's chef to host a great day of feasting and revelry. The cost for the feast is $15.00 a person; there will be a no-host br. NO ALCOHOL CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE BANQUET FROM THE HOSPITALITY SUITE!!! This is the inn's policy and is non-negotiable.

The site fee for the event has been reduced to $5.00 a person. Those who have already paid at the higher rate will have refunds made at the door. Smalls 5 and under are FREE; ages 6-12 are half-price. Non-members pay $2.50 extra each for site fee and feast.

Merchants should contact Peter Bentarrow.

There STILL is a great need for performers in all areas; those wishing to entertain during the feast (free eats) should contact Lord Stephen Trahern.

The lunch will be buffet style and the menu is as follows:

  • Hot Turkey with Gravy
  • Breads and Relish Tray
  • Whipped Potatoes
  • Mixed Green Salad

The menu for the King's Feast (Buffet except for Royalty) is:

  • Mixed Green Salad
  • Sourdough Rolls
  • Roast Chicken with Rose Water Sauce
  • Roast Sirloin of Beef
  • Honey Carrots
  • Braised Red Cabbage
  • Herbed Rice
  • Dessert Pudding
  • Pitchers of Iced Tea (on tables)
  • Coffee

We have made arrangements with the innkeeper for us to use our own table settings and goblets, so please remember to bring them if you have them. If you forget or don't have any period tableware, mundane pieces will be available for your use. Please contact the Feast-O-Crat in advance to arrange for a mundane table setting.

All are invited to bring banners. Make arrangements by contacting the autocrat.
