The Honourable Lady Arianne Lightheart of Whiteheld has been in the Society since AS XX. She currently lives in the Barony of Calafia in the Kingdom of Caid. She joined the SCA in the Barony of Western Seas and briefly lived in the Barony of Adiantium in the Kingdom of An Tir. She is a member of the Drafn War Band and married to a Lord of the Orkney War Band. Her Lord is Randver Brotamaðr and they are raising their daughter, Anna Doksdottir. Her Drafn nickname is "Anna's Mom" and her Orkney Rack nickname is "Doc's Wife".

Persona

Arianne was born in the Bretagne (Brittany) province of France in 1250 a.d. Shortly after choosing her name and persona she fell in with a saracen mercenary band of archers (Clan Torvald). Documentation for her participation in martial arts and use of propane fire is sketchy at best.

Notes

  • Only because I'm asked this a lot - "what do you receive when you step down as Baron/Baroness of Western Seas?" The tradition is the victor of the baronial lyst is inducted into the Order of the Baronial Label of Western Seas. If you spot someone sporting a small bronze medallion with an outrigger canoe and a cadence label, you probably just found me.
  • I loved bringing Goldwyn's plays to Western Seas as Guildmistress of the Wandering Players of Paradise. Thank you to all my cast in every production.
