*From Countess [[Battista de Lagos]]: The Order of the Roses had the honor of presenting tokens to fighters today that we felt stood out and displayed the qualities of chivalry, courtesy and fun that we as a Kingdom look for. A few of the people we wanted to recognize did not make court so I wanted to post their name: Yusaka of Calafia, [[Bernard Stark]], Merric Warter, Giachino Morone of Altavia, Leo Phalen of Summergate and finally the winner of the sword presented by Duchess [[Bridget Lucia MacKenzie]], [[Arland Weigel von Offenbach|Arland Weigel]] of Starkhafn. Congratulations to each of you for making Caid that much better!

Unto the Kingdom of CAID do Their Excellencies Ida and Jens send the warmest of greetings in this new year. We are proud to announce it is time once again for the Unbelted Armored Fighters of CAID to come together and participate in this honored traditional tournament. Merchants are welcome, but please contact the Event Stewards no later than January 10th, 2023 to make reservations. A City of Tustin Business License is required.

As in the past, this will be a single-elimination tournament with the ability to gain a second life with an art form.

Schedule: 8:00am Site Opens
10:00am Opening Court (at Her Majesty’s Pleasure)
Lists Close 15 minutes after Opening Court
4:00pm Closing Court
6:00pm Site Closes

Site information: Parking will be available nearby at Pioneer Middle School. Please adhere to the red curbs and no parking signs in the Cedar Grove Park parking lot. Site fee: Adult Event Registration $15.00, Adult Member Discount Event Registration $10.00. Minors (0-17) are guests of the Barony and must be accompanied by an adult. We will be accepting cash or checks at the gate. Please make checks payable to SCA Inc./Barony of Gyldenholt.
