Lord Christian von Eiland
fallen in Fall Crown Tourney A.S. XLIII

There are, I tell you now, dragons to face.
Dread nobles wielding wicked sword and shield.
And everywhere are young men who would place
Their lives in jeopardy, yet never yield.
Lord Christian, such a stalwart man is he.
He sought to make Theodosia Queen.

He chose as his first foe from Chivalry,
Sir Ragnar, meanest Viking ever seen!
Then Christian drew his blade and waded in
And Ragnar followed suit into the fray.
See how the valiant fighters twist and spin
Alas, ‘twas great Sir Ragnar won the day!

But Christian was undaunted in his quest,
He had yet one more life to wager still.
Against Duke Dietrich, Christian did his best
The heroes’ battle gave us all a thrill!
The Herzog won, and laid good Christian low.

Crown List, for some is where our dreams may soar.
‘Twas in this first that Christian let us know
That we’ll remember him forever more.
