A Revel is a party, usually in celebration of something. A Revel often including or following a Feast, or a Banquet, or some other form of refreshments, usually in the medieval style. Many times there will be Dancing, always in the medieval style.

From Middle English revelen, from Old French revel/resvel, from reveler (“to be disorderly, to make merry”), from Latin rebellare "to rebel"
