Lyondemere Anniversary
July 13 2013, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
It is the year 1576, and the plague has left Venice at last! Jump in your gondola and join the Barony of Lyondemere in our celebration of La Festa del Redentore. Baronial Champion competitions will be held for Armored and Rapier Combat, a well as an A&S People’s Choice competition (theme-related entries highly encouraged!). As always, we are having our Basket Raffle with its wonderful treasures, delectable baked goods, and promissory notes from our talented artists and crafts people. Stay tuned for further details on contests, games and activities!
Schedule of the Day:
Site opens: 8am
Gate and Lists open: 9am
Morning Court: 10am (or at Their Majesties pleasure)
Evening Court:4pm (or at Their Majesties pleasure)
Site closes: 6pm
Please note: This is a DRY site. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the City of Long Beach building or parks.

Site fee is $7 for adults; Children ages 7 to 12 $3; Children ages 6 and under are guests of the barony. A nonmember surcharge of $5 will apply to all non-members ages 12 and over. Please make checks payable to SCA, Inc./Barony of Lyondemere
Directions
Take 405-S and exit at Bellflower Blvd. Turn left onto Los Coyotes Diagonal, then turn left onto Bellflower. Go north on Bellflower to Carson St. Turn left and drive to Clark Ave.
If you are coming from the 405 N, you will exit Bellflower and turn right traveling north towards Carson St. you will also turn left onto Carson then on to Clark Ave. The park will be on your left-hand side. Turn left onto Clark.
Additional parking is in the lot across the street from the park on Clark. Parking passes can be purchase in the lot at the kiosks. If you will need to unload a trailer prior to parking, I suggest after you get on to Bellflower, you turn left onto Spring St. and travel to Clark Ave. Turning right on Clark and then taking that to Carson will put you in a much better direction to pull up next to the park and unload prior to parking.
