Don Lot RamirezRRE first found the SCA in Northshield in 1996 (back when it was just a Principality, now a Kingdom), where he took up the art of the sword and has never put it down. He is the Captain of the White Star, a ship and a nautical household that is a branch of the di Cellini households (a collection of households that now span three or more kingdoms). Don Lot was made a Companion of the Order of the White Scarf of Caid in A.S. 39 (2005), by Direk IV and Chamayn

Don Lot Ramirez is a Protegé to Master Gulliver Blackrune as well as a fencing student of Maestro Giacomo Cavalli da Treviso. He is the Dean of the 'Vineyard of Swords' School of Fence, where his students come to learn and study under his tutelage.

Rapier Teaching Dossier

Don Lot fences and teaches using techniques derived from historical references. He is mostly focused on Italian styles of the medieval and renaissance periods, but also studies and teaches German rappier and longsword. He loves to teach and is always willing to engage in conversation about fencing technique and application. He regularly attends practices in the downtown area (Lyondemere, Gyldenholt and Angels) but is willing to travel to teach if people wish to arrange a seminar or class with their local group. He can also be found teaching at the Tattershall School of Defence (Long Beach, CA) on Thursday evenings. He currently has a cadre of personal students, but is willing to give advice or assistance to anyone at any event, time providing.
