Description
Live from Caid is a weekly web-based show on Monday nights at 7 pm Pacific Time, hosted by Master Laertes McBride and Master Beorn of the Northern Sea. The show began in March 2020 after SCA events were cancelled and the general lockdown was ordered. Initially conceived as an information resource for the Kingdom of Caid, the range of discussion has grown to cover general topics of SCA interest as well.
Each week features a special guest interview and topical quiz, as well as a performance. In addition, Master Laertes shares general announcements of interest to Caidan viewers and Master Beorn showcases Arts and Sciences resources each week. Occasionally, truly weapons-grade puns are lobbed between the hosts, and even by the audience in comments as well.
The introductory and closing music was composed and performed by Lord Charles Ivanson of Borreby and Lady Aurora of Finchingfield.
