The copper-clad reliquary of St. Ian Anderson (made to hide an iPod and small speaker and 'miraculously' play music). I carved the intaglio of Medusa visible on this side, as well as carving and cabbing several other stones, made the molds and cast all pewter elements, made the box itself from a cedar log brought home from pilgrimage to Pennsic, and did all the thin-sheet repoussee by the methods described by Theophilus in On Divers Arts. The 'relics' on each side all have personal relevance to me, and include my daughter's baby tooth, hair from my son and husband, a piece of leather from my first leather pouch, a vigil token from Master Derian le Breton's Laurel vigil, and a bandage with a bit of my own blood, shed while making the reliquary.
