On Saturday we will be determining champions in heavies, rapier, unarmoured, youth, archery, and thrown weapons. Hound coursing is planned. There will be a special scavenger hunt for the young and young at heart. The Canton of Tanwayour will be a lunch for the populace for $5.

A beautiful weekend for Oliver and Kate's first Anniversary as Baron and Baroness. The Stewards of the event were Ketill rauðskeggr and Madeleine Ashbury.

Come join Baron Oliver and Baroness Kate as Calafia goes off the edge of the world to celebrate Calafia’s anniversary and their first year as our Baron and Baroness. Our trip will be on 21-22 November 2009.

On Saturday we will be determining champions in heavies, rapier, unarmoured, youth, archery, and thrown weapons. Hound coursing is planned. There will be a special scavenger hunt for the young and young at heart. The Canton of Tanwayour will be providing a lunch for the populace for $5.

On Sunday a Pas d’Armes is scheduled for the entertainment of both the fighters and spectators alike.

Space Reservations: Geopolitical units that are planning on attending are requested to contact the event stewards with the size of the front of their pavilion, including ropes. Preference will be given to Kingdoms, Baronies, Shires, and Cantons.

Feast: Our feast will be prepared by Pale Maiden, the winners of the 2009 Potrero War Siege Cook-off. Reservations are required. The cost for the feast is $12. For your feasting comfort the feast will be held off site. Feast seating is limited to 100 places. Please contact Lady Eva de Castille to place your reservations.

The feast site is a dry site.

Feast location: Heartland Masonic Lodge, 695 Ballantyne St. El Cajon, CA 92021.

Feast Directions: From El Monte Park: I-8 west. Exit Mollison Ave. Turn left at bottom of ramp. Right onto Madison Ave. First light is Ballantyne - turn right. Heartland Lodge is on the right just past the bridge.

Feast Menu

1st Remove: Roasted Garlic, Cheese (lemon herb farmers cheese) and toasted baguette, Pine nut babaganoush , olives, fruit and pita.

2nd Remove: Mixed Green salad (dressing, mint, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic and marjoram).

3rd Remove: Leek and oat soup.

4rd Remove: Curry Perogi (ground beef, carrots, potato, mudras powder, garlic, and onion).

5th Remove: Stuffed jerked pork roast (apples, brie and onions) (Jerk marinade onion, scallions, all spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, bird pepper, salt, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, thyme) green beans (garlic, thyme, butter, marjoram, salt, pepper, lemon juice, white wine and olive oil).

For those that don’t eat pork: Roasted Chicken (lemon, garlic, basil, oregano, rosemary, olive oil, pepper and salt).

6th Remove: Pears/apples with creme fresh (on the side) in confection.

Fees Saturday and Sunday - SCA members over 14: $10.00, 6-14, $8.00 Saturday only - SCA members over 14: $7.00, 6-14, $5.00 Sunday only - SCA members over 14: $5.00, 6-14, $3.00 Non-SCA members will pay an additional $3.00 per attendee. Additional Information There are no hook-ups for RVs. San Diego County Parks require that pets (not just dogs) be on a leash that is no more than 6 feet long, be attended at all times. Please be prepared to clean up after your pet.

Lyst closes 15 minutes after court.

  • 6:30pm - Feast site opens
  • 7:30pm - Feast

Sunday

  • 8:00am - Gate opens

30 minutes after court - Pas d’Armes
