Greetings unto the populace of Caid! The Barony of Gyldenholt invites you to our celebration of friendship with the Barony of Calafia. The tournament shall include heavy weapons, rapier and youth combat.

Not a fighter yourself? Come watch the hilarity that will ensue as we watch the fighters compete for an extra life at a 3-legged race, speed round bocce ball, and more! Children’s activities will also be available.

Armored Combat

The heavy weapon tournament will be standard double elimination with 4 opportunities to win an extra life. (A maximum of one extra life per fighter.)

  1. A 3-legged race (video)
  2. Speed round bocce ball
  3. A 1-minute bardic performance
  4. People’s choice visual art form. The art form should incorporate the colors of the Baronies: blue, gold, and black. Tokens for voting will be disbursed at gate with site tokens.

Rapier

Rapier will be having 2 Tourneys on this day

1st Tournament: Team Melee

Melee Teams will be assigned at random to promote unity and friendship because everyone will get a chance to fight alongside some of their friends. The scenario is a simple Kill 'em All/Last Team Standing with the winning team (regardless of whom is left standing or has perished away during the fight) gaining an advantage in the 2nd Tournament (Currently slated as and extra life*).

2nd Tournament: Standard Tournament format with Advantages (lives) being proportioned out based upon standing

White Scarfed Fighters will have 1 life in this tournament

Order of the Duelist Members will have 2 lives

Non-recognized/Authorized Fighters will have 3 lives (or 4 if they were the lucky ones to be on the winning side of tourney #1), because they need the extra practice.

Bye Fights will be destructive as will the 2nd Double-Kill in a fight result in both fighters losing a life.

If we have a possibly of suffering from time constraints, the advantage in the 2nd tourney awarded to the winners of the first tourney will be adjusted.
