Baron Rudolph Fekter
fallen in Spring Crown Tourney, A.S. LVI

Baron Rudolph Fekter

Where the earth shakes,
Where the Joshua trees stand,
Those mighty winds danced
Around many warriors who had chanced…

To earn the noble crown of Caid,
To lead his consort and populace,
Kingdom of crescent moons,
Who all bleed silver and blues.

The deserts of Naevehejm awakened,
Birds of songs, pennons waving.
Like the birds of prey,
Caid’s warriors assembled to play.

The Baron of Naevehejm himself,
Rudolph Fekter coming forth,
Over twelve years of twelfth nights
He has served and he fights!

A warrior, anvil butterfly,
Through sun and through moon!
Earth and stars are brighter
When Rudolph became that fighter!

Round one Signy, defeated!
Round two Sven, no chance!
Round three Alva, Rudolph slain!
Ended his Baron’s chance of reign.

His consort Baroness Amicia
By his side through the end,
Laid fallen seeking to conquer his quest
Baron Rudolph, always at best!

Those Naevehejm winds blew,
Over those sounds of sword and shield,
But rise again Baron Fekter
At next you need to protect her.

Meggan of the Angels
... is a 15th Century Welsh archer from the Barony of the Angels who is preparing to defend Caid on the battlefields of war as a combat archer. She enjoys being a town crier at war and bearing flags. She looks forward to working through her bardic shyness.
