It’s time to start looking forward into the New Year, and that means Angels’ Melee is coming up! On Saturday, January 16, 2010, the Barony of the Angels is hosting a day of fighting and camaraderie. Armored combat will feature the usual teams of 10 fighters, including combat archers. Rapier scenarios will be run in a format to be determined closer to the event.
Due to the presence of archers, we will have a 30 foot space between the eric and any pavilions, so space on the eric will be limited. Preference will be given to royals and geopolitical units. Contact the event steward to reserve space for your group. Please arrive early!
Pets are allowed on leashes. There is easy access for the handicapped and there are play areas close by for children.
We will be limited to 10 cars at a time driving on to the site. Please be prepared to load and unload quickly so we can give everyone a turn. Merchants are welcome.
This is a dry site. Site opens at 7:00 am and we must be off site by no later than 5:00 pm.
Schedule of the day
7:00 AM site opens
9:00 AM lists open
10:00 AM opening court
15 minutes after court, lists close
12:00 noon fighting starts
3:30 PM closing court
5:00 PM site closes - everyone is packed up and off site
