Persona
Master Yrjö Kirjawiisas was elevated to the Order of the Laurel on 05/03/1975 by TRM of the West Paul and Carol.
His original SCA name was Däwyd Suomalainen von Markheim, which he changed to Yrjö Kirjawiisas in April 1981.
He was part of several households including House von Markheim, Domus Aurelii, Shu Gerh, and House Beltane (West). In November 1998, he registered Denmark's Order of the Elephant with the SCA College of Heralds because the award is bestowed by Denmark and he wanted to prevent SCA conflicts with it.
