I didn't even realize I had the last name when I copied and pasted that info - I deleted it, I hope, from the info I submitted. I'll go check it now. I also made sure my original page doesn't have the last name as well. Thank you for pointing this out to me!!! --Valdis 13:50, 7 June 2008 (PDT)

Devices and Images from the ROA site
If we get permission from the holders of the Devices can we use images from the Caid Roll of Arms http://roa.sca-caid.org/ --Valdis 03:26, 18 June 2008 (PDT)

*Giving a thoughtful "Hmm..." The Caid Roll does specify, "Copyright to the scanned drawings remains with the original illustrators. If you wish to download/save any device on this roll that is not registered to you, you must obtain the permission from the person to whom the device is registered." Those two statements contradict each other. The former statement more clearly reflects the law. The second really doesn't make any sense. The registrant of the armory has (presumed) copyright over their original artwork, but that artwork is not on the Caid Roll. Therefore, they should have no say over who can and cannot use the Caid Roll image of their arms. I'll have to discuss it on this end. --Lachlan 11:04, 18 June 2008 (PDT)

Circle of Bard page
Now my actual question - On the Circle of Bards page there is a section that says "The position of Bard of Caid shall carry a 1 year commitment that includes three required Kingdom Events (Twelfth Night, Great Western War, and the competition for his/her successor). These events are fluid: The King & Queen will decide, based on the Bard of Caid’s schedule, which kingdom events are mandatory performance events. "

This description is a tad unclear to me so I wondered if this could be slightly altered. This rule states that the Bard of Caid must commit to 3 required Kingdom Events and lists the actual events but then goes on to say that the King and Queen will decide which Kingdom events are mandatory. Does this contradict the first part of the rule? Is it referring to the competition event only? or are these Kingdom Events that the King and Queen stipulate ones that are in addition to the 3 specified events?

Pentathlon Pages - Duplicates?
There's two seperate (two that I know of so far) Pentathlon pages. They are the Arts and Sciences Pentathlon Champion at http://wiki.caid-commons.org/index.php/Arts_and_Sciences_Pentathlon_Champion and Results Pentathlon at http://wiki.caid-commons.org/index.php?title=Results_Pentathlon&redirect=no. These are essentially for the same information could we redirect or remove one of the pages? Or do these need to remain seperate pages?

Kingdom (Meridies) Page - Is it still a stub?
I added information on the Meridies page. Not sure how much info to include on a Kingdom page so not sure whether it's still a stub or not, let me know if I need to put the stub code back in.--Valdis 22:42, 19 June 2008 (PDT)

Thank you! --Valdis 18:03, 6 June 2008 (PDT)

Just a quick note, we can't put real names on the web site unless that is their registered name, which I don't think is the case with Logan. Cheers --Kolfinna 22:30, 6 June 2008 (PDT)

 • Actually it would be the permission of the person who runs the ROA site. Lachlann might know about that. --Kolfinna 10:50, 18 June 2008 (PDT)
