Highlights
From the Crown Prints
On this day in Gyldenholt we run one list, that of Unbelted Armored Combat. Knights are invited to help marshal, but they will not be fighting on the battlefield. Each list entrant is also invited to present a work of his/her own medieval-style artwork, to be approved by a Lady of the Rose, for the purpose of earning an extra life in the lists.
Fighters, before arriving at the lists table, please -1) Be in garb; 2) Have your site token in hand; 3) Have in hand your extra life token given to you by a Lady of the Rose, if you have chosen to participate; 4) Have a valid fighter authorization card in hand.
Site fee(s): Adult with proof of membership: $7, Children ages 5 to 11: $5, Children ages 4 and under are guests of the barony. A non-member surcharge of $5 applies to all non-members ages 12 and over.
As there is limited parking, carpooling is highly recommended.

Merchant Information: Merchants are welcome at this event, but must sign up with the event stewards ahead of time. Their fees are the site fee, but they are required to obtain a business license with the City of Tustin.
Directions: From the I-5 freeway. Take the Tustin Ranch Rd exit and head north. Turn left at Pioneer Way. Turn right at Pioneer Rd. The park is on the left. Parking at the park is limited to a few spaces. We have reserved the parking lot of Pioneer Middle School for this event at 2700 Pioneer Rd, Tustin, CA 92782. To get to the school from Pioneer Way, turn left at Pioneer Rd. Please carpool.

From Lady Nicolete: For those who like to plan ahead, along with watching out for our unbelted fighters, you may choose to join in honoring St. John the Almoner's Day (Jan. 23) of Alexandria, 13th Century, in a day of devotion, to whomever you choose; service, to Kingdom, Baronies, Households, and our SCA family; and giving, to the County Interfaith Shelter with checks, cash, food, clothing, or whatever you may be able to offer. The site token will be prayer/affirmation/ fidget beads in the colors of Gyldenholt.
