Mistress Soraya was elevated to the Order of the Laurel for Research and Russian Costuming on 06/06/1992 by TRM Ivan II and Aislynn. Her daughter is Lady Eliada Melisande d'Alessandria.

Her original SCA name was registered as Soraya Evodia of Odessa in 11/1983 and changed to its current form in 12/2001.
