Location: Hosted by Angels
Date: 03/25/2017

A special Artisan Raffle with exceptional and hand-crafted items will be held at Caid Arts & Sciences Fair & Pentathlon 2017.

Generous Caidan artisans have donated exciting hand-crafted items to be raffled off at Pentathlon to support Arts & Sciences programs

Event Staff

Event Thank You

Huzzah to all those generous artisans and others who donated amazing and wonderful items that brought in a total of $900 from the raffle!

Many thanks to Mistress Lynnette de Sandoval del Valle de los Unicornios, who stepped in to advertise the raffle everywhere online. Her quick work was most helpful in showing prospective ticket buyers what to look for. We can’t thank Mistress Teka Turmanov and Sir Killian MacTaggart enough for their gracious hospitality in opening their house to us. They supplied not only a warm bed, but warm dogs and cold margaritas.

Grateful thanks to our volunteer setup helpers, Rosie Blackrune, Brénainn Frēobeorn, and young Alexander from the Eldern and Oak merchant booth. We truly could not have done this without them! Special thanks to Master John ap Griffin, whose patience has lasted 57 years, and whose help with the raffle was invaluable.

Thanks to Master Cormac Mór for being the amusing ticket-drawer and announcer. Thanks to our Vannas (runners): Baroness Meliora Deverel, Baroness Cecilia Mediciand Rosie Blackrune. Thanks also to Baroness Thea Gabrielle Northernridge for her help. Thanks also to Cassondra Gyllenstein and Mistress Yssbell inghean Bhaltair for loaning tables. I know there were others, but I cannot remember through the fog of fatigue. Please feel free to add to this list by contacting me via my new SCA email address below.

Our job would have been far easier without a strong desert night-wind. Promissories and raffle notes were slipped from a portfolio and whirled away, never to be seen again. If you or someone you know won a promissory, please contact me for contact details via my new SCA email address.
