Maypole

Yearly, a maypole dance is performed at the Voyager's May Day Tournament. The maypole is thought to have been originally a pagan fertility symbol, and Caidan tradition holds that the Voyager's maypole does have some "magic" properties. After the tournament, one couple volunteers to take the maypole home with them to store it until the next year. More often than not, that couple is blessed with a child within the following year.
