From the Crown Prints

Believe it or not, spring is just around the corner. And with spring comes the March Hare. Make plans to join the Shire of Heatherwyne in LaVerne on Saturday, March 21st to celebrate the Shire's 31st Anniversary. We once again have our traditional site of Kuns Park in La Verne, CA.

There will be fighting in all forms to determine the new Defenders of the Children, youth combat, and various games for the children (and the adults, too). Also featured will be a donation lunch, a bake table, and a raffle with many items suitable for children.

From Lachlan of Cromarty

  • Cormac was the second entrant in the skillet toss, but his throw "stood up" through the competition. As in the previous year, the skillet shattered a few throws in and grew heavier and heavier with added duct tape throughout the competition. Pike chucked it out-of-bounds (oops), though nobody was hit.
  • Sir Heinrich Palantine donned his armor for a few fights!
