Jeanne d’ Arc Tourney
September 10, 2000

Please join the Canton of Steinsee with in the glorious Barony of Dreiburgen, in celebrating the arts of combat with a day dedicated to our patron saint.
The event will be held at Cabazon Park and Community Center.

Schedule of the Day

  • 8:00 am – Site opens
  • 10:00 am – Opening court
  • 5:00 pm – Closing court
  • 7:00 pm – Site closes

The day will start with Lyonesse (female only) and Lyons tourney (male only) single elimination tournaments. (Ok that’s wishful thinking. It could be double elimination or round robin or bear pit, depending on how many brave souls we have join us.) Your placement in the tournaments will determine team composition for the melee evernts. Each melee team will include at least one female fighter (see the title of event if you’re wondering why). So come on all you fighters who happen to be women! Bring all your toys, because there may be an appearance of the Hat of Doom to determine what weapons styles are used in what rounds and/or scenarios. Melee scenarios will include the Tavern Brawl, River Crossing, and Capture the Duke (PS: Strawberry-leafed volunteers sought for this scenario). All fighting forms welcolme!!
The day will also include the Jeanne d’Arc trivia contest, Best Use of Fleur-de-lis contest, Covert Tail Pinning, whatever else we can think of between now and then.
