Sir Edward Senestre
fallen in Fall Crown Tourney, A.S. XLII

For the crown and the Lady Buchanan, Sir Edward took the field.
Met he first a Hospitaller by the name of Vaux,
In a flurry of action, Senestre landed the last blow.

When next Edward took up arms, von Tannenberg was there.
The cross could not protect Darius from death that day,
It was clear to all present, Senestre’s intent was to slay.

Thorin O’ Seaghdha met Edward upon the eric.
Neither axe, nor needle, nor trefoil could bring Senestre down,
O’Seaghdha lost this battle in the tourney for the crown.

Senestre with a devilish left was fearsome to behold.
He breathed in deep and smelled victory on the breeze,
When he met good Sir Padraic, and brought him to his knees.

Duke Edric Aaron Hartwood was a formidable foe.
Senestre met a challenge even he could not deny,
The Duke did best Sir Edward in the fight for he was spry.

The day was long and Edward fought a final bout.
Sir Jamal for Mistress Eowyn swung with killing force.
Sir Edward fell at last his time had run its course.

Lady Mora stood and watched as Sir Edward left the field.
Her honor he represented to his full ability,
And to her he would always represent nobility.
