I modeled this illustration after the so-called Zurich Roll (ca. 1340), Strip 1, though I adjusted the formatting to satisfy SCA symbolism, ranks, etc. The pairs of combatants and consorts are arranged firstly by rank, with chivalry in the top three rows, and unbelted fighters in the bottom two rows. They are ordered secondarily based on number of rounds each fighter entered. Arms appear twice in the cases where a couple fought each for the other. | |||
