Festival of the Rose

The Festival of the Rose is held each reign to honor the Royal Consort with displays of Arts & Sciences, especially bardic performances. Occasionally, the event is not held if the Kingdom calendar or the monarchs' progress cannot accommodate it.

Originally called the Queen's Arts Tea, the inaugural event was hosted by the Calafian Arts Council in honor of HRM Amsha al Sirhan, herself a resident of Calafia. In 1984, the event's name was changed to Festival of the Rose.
