From the Peridot Isle Site
Please join us for a day of merrymaking as we celebrate our annual 12th Night on Peridot Isle, The Feast of Misrule. A cake will be baked, containing a surprise, and the person who receives that piece will be named the Lord or Lady of the Feast of Misrule. This event will be in garb, so please wear something that is reminiscent of the dress of the Middle Ages or Renaissance.
We are honored with special visitors arriving to our shores. Our lovely Baroness, Genevieve la Minstrelle, will be our guest of honor. Master Stefan of Cambion and Lady Evelynne Merrymet, visiting from another Kingdom, have offered to teach dance and other A&S offerings. Lady Xiana da Lekeito and Lord John of York, from yet another Kingdom, will be visiting, and we hope to have them share their thrown weapons expertise and dance enthusiasm. A Potluck Day Board lunch will be offered at 12:30PM. Classes and children's games will be held throughout the afternoon. A Potluck Period style feast will be held. THL Una Logan of the Black Isle will provide a meat dish main course for the evening meal.
This is a Pot Luck event, with no site fee. Since it is pot luck, we need people to participate. If you come, please bring food offerings for the Day Board (Lunch) and the Dinner Feast. It would be most appreciated if you bring a period type side dish for the evening meal that would have been served in the Middle Ages to Renaissanceyou can find many recipes on line. If you need assistance with ideas, you may contact Mistress Raven of Heronsmarsh. Simple dishes such as fruits or nuts that would have been available in Europe, breads, cheese, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl--all would be appropriate. The main meat dish for the evening meal will be provided by THL Una and THL William.

- 4:30 PM Processional
- 5:00 PM First Foot and 12th Night Song
- 5:15 PM Court
- 5:30 PM-7:30 PM Feast, Music, and Dancing
- 7:30-8:45 PM Cleanup
- 9:00 PM Site closes
All will be asked to sign a waiver on check in. Please see Lord Tuathal MacCrimthainn, and get your site token after signing in. Help in set up and clean up will be greatly appreciated. Feast gear will be provided.
