That summer the Count received an invitation from Markgraf Leopold Schmaltz, from across the border in Germany, for a visit. Upon arriving, Zocha was introduced to the Markgraf and thought him the most handsome man she had ever seen. His age was older than she but no more than 15 years or so she thought. Zocha had spent a little time in the warm kitchens talking with the cooks when she was younger and knew a few recipes. Before her mother had died the year before, she had told her pretty girl: "the way to a mans heart was through his stomach". The Markgraf would be coming to visit Zocha and her father in the spring. Zocha knew she had to prepare a fabulous meal for him...... Event Steward for Fest or the Rose: Contessa Luciana di Carlo Event Steward for Cast Iron Chef: Mistress Cristal de la Mer
