Azure, a dolphin embowed uriant to sinister argent
Companionship in the Order of the Dolphin of Caid is awarded for superior service to the Kingdom.
From the April-May 1976 issue of The Crown Prints
Her Highness Vivian Aurore de la Mer, Princess of Caid, has instituted a new award in the Principality. It will be called the Order of the Dolphin and will be awarded once a reign to one or possibly two people whom the reigning Princess feels has rendered service to the Principality above and beyond the call of duty. It will be the presentation of the Princess (hopefully, with some consultation with the reigning Prince). Princess Vivian is now accepting submissions of designs for the actual award; the deadline for submission is May 1. The basic design is to be a dolphin on a disk to be worn around the neck and can be worked in any medium which will hold up fairly well. Please submit a drawing of the design along with an estimate of the cost. The disk will have to be finished by June 5th for the Coronetting Tourney. (Personal information omitted)
